You don't have to be a sports fan to want to follow Major League Baseball's Twitter account today. For one day only, the sport is turning over its feed to talk-show host and comedian Stephen Colbert.

You can follow the funnyman on Twitter @MLB,?where he's offering?some incisive insights about the game, such as "Pro Tip: If you're taken out to the ballgame, you don't need peanuts AND crackerjacks. The crackerjacks already have peanuts."

Colbert won control of the feed in a contest where he and a representative of the league each picked a player they thought would get a hit for the most straight days. Colbert had Albert Pujols, MLB picked Kevin Youkilis, and Colbert's player won.

And Colbert might have been a little confused about just what he was winning. He tweeted: "Am I the only person who thought @MLB was the twitter handle of Matt LeBlanc?"

He'll be tweeting until midnight Friday. As he writes in another tweet: "I can't wait to see Ken Burns' nine-part documentary about my control of baseball's Twitter feed."
