Two Central Texas Teens Arrested After Inadvertent 911 Call

COLLEGE STATION (July 22, 2013)?Two teenagers were held on drug charges in the Brazos County Jail Monday after police say one of them inadvertently pocket-dialed 911 on his cell phone, evidently while they were smoking marijuana.

Officers who responded to the inadvertent 911 call found no emergency, but did smell marijuana at the residence, College Station police Sgt. Danny Junek said Monday.

They obtained a search warrant and seized cocaine, marijuana and more than $4,100 in cash, he said.

Kyle Nelson Bading, 19, of College Station was charged with possession of marijuana under two ounces.

He was free on $2,000 bond Monday.

David Marshal Norris, 18, from whose cell phone the call was placed, was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana under 4 ounces, but more than 2 ounces and was ordered held on bonds totaling $20,000, online jail records showed.
